political with a bit of contempt...no knitting, sorry
So, if you have anything along the lines of a white magnet that says "bigot" or maybe "asshat" on it, I'd love to have one. There is a car that parks in the parking deck of the hospital/university I work for that has this bumper sticker on their car. It makes me fume everytime I go past it. How hateful and evil. I would love to slap something over it to show what a bigotted statement it is.

You ought to try the printout type magnet "paper" you can buy at any office depot (or such) and print out whatever you want it to say! :)
What a great idea though...maybe I should print up a few myself and keep them in the car to "tag" stupid, closeminded people... probably wouldn't change their minds, but would make ME feel a hell of a lot better!!!

I like Carry's idea. Now, if we can only think of a way to keep people from saying stupid things too....
You could take a white-out pen and fill in the space between the man's legs so it looks like a woman wearing a long skirt...I bet that would piss off the car's owner in a deeply satisfying way!

I'm so glad to be in Massachusetts where for the most part we can keep the stupid people hidden. I don't know what I would do if I lived down south. Carry a lot of white-out and magnets I suppose.
I live down south (was born here and will die here one day) and you just learn to overlook the idiots. We see plenty of those kinds of bumper stickers as well as several that are very much against pro-choice. I won't even open that can of worms here.

Yes, that bumper sticker always had me fuming as well. My idea was to get a red sharpie and turn the skirt into yet another pair of pants. There were a ton of stickers in Georgia like that one. I'd like to think that my "Ganesha loves you" stickers added a nice balance, but I don't think very many people got it. Grumble.
