Yarn pOrn!

From my shopping spree Friday first we have the lovely lovely manos:

Mmmmm...*drool*
Not too sure what that's going to be yet though. Aren't those colors fabulous! I love the combination.

Next we have some Lion's Pride Chunky

that will most likely become a felted purse. Another great color combo too, in my opinion.

Then there is some Oh-So-Soft Inca Alpaca

I'm not going to say what this is for, but mom, if you read this...please forget you saw it.

More Lion's Pride, worsted weight

for Nate's Jayne Cobb hat.

And while I was all excited, loving my yarn, Obi and Evil Cat showed their complete and utter lack of interest.

Silly animals!

And a little bit late, here is some of the yarn I got at the swap

which is a bit more green than it is blue in person. I've already started it up in the seed stitch jacket, and I like the way it looks. If you were the one who put this in the swap box, I'd love to know more about it. It said it was overdyed, but it also seems like it's hand spun? Maybe not. But it's a nice yarn, and I think will make a great sweater for my new niece or nephew.

I LOVE your yarn pOrn. I've been eyeing that alpaca at my LYS for some time.

My dad is from Ohio and says "red up".

My husband still picks on me, asking if I'm going to paint the room red or something.

That alpaca is so very very nice, I have to say. Super soft and yummy.

Have you made anything with the manos yet? It really is a beautiful colour combo.
I'm excited to see what happens!
